Fulfillment status report!

Hello Dragonbonded!

We have had quite a ride with fulfillment and we truly appreciate your patience and support. We are the first ones wanting to hear your thoughts and game experience. 

For everyone who already received your game and expansions, remember there's an "Example of Play" you can use as a quickstart to play the game, you can scan the QR code at the end of your rulebook!

If you have not received your games already but already got an email with tracking info from the fulfillment partner, it is normal if status doesn't change after some days. Some fulfillment partners create the labels on their system way in advance before dispatching orders. We are still in the fulfillment stage and we kindly ask for you to be a bit more patient in this last stage of the project. There are many orders and different items in our project which makes it a bit more complex than past projects.

North America

•  USA — Gamerati confirmed that all orders were dispatched! 
•  Canada  — Pick & Pack logistics already have the games and after interchanging some emails to clarify a few questions they will proceed with fulfillment. You should hear from them within the next couple of weeks.  
• Mexico — Detestable Games ya hizo los envíos de todos aquellos que no pidieron recoger por "local pickup". Si no has recibido tu juego, por favor contáctanos a [email protected]  
  • Local pickup CDMX: Los juegos se entregaron el fin de semana del 20 y 21 de enero en The Pub. Si no pudiste asistir, por favor envía un correo a [email protected] para ponernos de acuerdo en el horario en el que podríamos entregarte el juego. 
  • Local pickup Puebla: Gabo ya hizo la entrega también el sábado 20. 
  • Local pickup GDL: Este fue de los primeros y se realizó en  en las oficinas de La Caravana Gamelab.  
     

Europe, Africa & South America: 

• Fulfillment is happening now by Happyshops. Some of you have received already your copies and we are delighted with your experiences on how happy you are with quality. We poured our hearts into these and your comments make our hearts glow. 
  • United Kingdom: Happyshops is waiting for some missing items from other projects before forwarding the pallets to Boardgame Guru. The last container with these items will arrive by mid February. Boardgame Guru should receive the games by the end of the month and begin fulfillment within March. We really appreciate your extra patience on this!
  • Germany: We hear you! If you are one of our 200+ backers expecting a German copy, you will receive your expansions in German, a base game in English (instead of Italian as mentioned in the previous update) and the proper language pack in German to change the language-dependent component from your base game. Thank you for letting us know your thoughts and feelings. 

Australia 

VR Distribution Orders uploaded to their system and we received confirmation from them with all items. You should be hearing from them soon. Remember that if you have not received your games already but already got an email with tracking info, it is normal if status doesn't change after some days. They might have created the labels on their system way in advance before dispatching orders. 

 Asia 

VFI: fulfillment finished! We know some of you are missing some items and we are taking care of it but with Chinese New Year's festivities happening, communication hasn't been very active and we are on hold. But rest assure we will send those missing deluxe components and dice as soon as we can! 

This project has been a rollercoast and as mentioned above, our hearts were poured into it. We have even put money from our pockets to complete it because we really want you to play it. We plan to share a retrospective with you very soon and share our lessons learned.

Let's talk about fulfillment status in each region so you can easily find yours and then skip (scroll down) to read more exciting news!

North America

•  USA — Fulfillment in progress by Gamerati! Some rewards have even already arrived. Labels were created some weeks ago before pick & packing (that’s why some tracking info remained the same for a while). Backers getting the big box and the gargantuan plastic dragons should expect two separate packages. 
•  Canada  — Gamerati is preparing the pallet that will be forwarded to Pick & Pack logistics. Once they receive the rewards, shipping labels will be created and tracking info will be shared with backers. 
• Mexico — Detestable Games: Los juegos llegaron a Guadalajara hace una semana y han sido enviados a los backers que solicitaron recibir recompensas por envío. 

Local pickup (Mexico)

• Guadalajara: 
  Las copias están listas para recolectarse en Caravana Gamelab. Si no has sido contactado por Derestable Games para recolección, envíanos un correo a [email protected]
• Ciudad de Mexico: 
  La fecha para recoger sus recompensas es el próximo fin de semana: 20 y 21 de Enero de 4PM a 7PM en The Pub Game Store (Pedro Romero de Terreros 520-Interior 1 P.A, Col del Valle Centro). 
  ¡Marquen sus calendarios porque tenemos una cita el próximo fin de semana! Corazón, Heidi y Rubén estarán ahí para recibirlos.
  Incluso podrás sentarte a jugar el juego y aprender gracias al apoyo de nuestros amigos de The Pub.
• Puebla: Todo está llegando hoy a Puebla y Gabo mañana, sábado 13 de enero, estará contactando a los backers para entregar las recompensas. 
   

 Europe, Africa & South America 

Happyshops is about to receive the container with the expansions next week and is getting ready to fulfill. We have entered the queue. Fulfillment should start in the next couple of weeks!

• Europe: Fulfillment should start in the next couple of weeks, we are in queue with Happyshops. 
• United Kingdom: Happyshops will forward some pallets to Boardgameguru for fulfillment. This might take some weeks but it is necessary in order for your rewards to be shipped within the UK. We really appreciate your extra patience!
• Germany: As you may recall, the German translation of the base game was not completed in time by our loc partner back when the base game was printed to offer split shipping last year. We had to finish and coordinate translation ourselves and the printing plan for the German base game had to change. While the expansions were printed in German along the rest of the languages, we couldn’t afford reprinting the base game with a Minimum order quantity of 2500 units. Instead we printed a Language Pack for the German components in the base game. If you are one of our 200+ backers expecting a German copy, you will receive your expansions in German, a base game in Italian and the proper language pack in German to change the language-dependent component from your base game. While language packs are not atypical in the Kickstarter scene, we understand and apologize the extra hassle of having to swap language components but at the end you should note no difference in your games.

 Asia 

VFI: fulfillment in process! We have heard some issues regarding the Deluxe components not being included in the big box, if this is your case, please send an email to [email protected] and we will send the missing item 🙂 

 Australia 

VR Distribution is getting ready to fulfill the project and awaiting for the games to arrive to their hub. We are awaiting more details about status and will update everyone as soon as we hear back.

Fulfillment for wave 2 begins!

Hello dragonbonded! 

The holiday season is around the corner and what a perfect time to celebrate it than sharing with you that the expansions (and backers who opted for single-wave shipments) are on their way to their final homes in the USA! 

•  USA: Gamerati dispatched 1000 orders which should be arriving before the end of the year. Backers with items such as RPG Great Wyrms of Drakha or the plastic dragons, will receive a separate package due to inventory shift.
•  Canada & Mexico: We are coordinating with Gamerati the games from this region, we will ship the pallets to Pick & Pack Logistics (Canada) and to Detestable Games (Mexico) and fulfillment is likely to start in January. We will keep you posted. 

For the rest of the world we are still with the same information: 

•  Europe, Africa & South America — The container should be arriving to Happyshops in Germany in January 4th. From there, we will forward a pallet to Board Game Guru in the UK. Fulfillment should take place between mid and late January. 
•  Asia — Everything is already with VFI Asia and we are still in the queue to start fulfillment. They realized some inventory shift is needed on our end for a few add-on items (from previous projects) that they have in shorter qty. So we are sending those few extras from another fulfillment partner to VFI.
•  Australia — Coordination with VR Distribution was in place so they could pickup our pallets along with other clients they work with. The vessel departed yesterday and it seems to arrive by mid December. Depending on our place in the fulfillment queue, fulfillment might begin by the end of December or a bit into January. We will let you know when we have more news.

As an indie publisher, we live and improve thanks to your support and reviews. Once you receive your game or play it, please take a minute to rate the game on a scale from 1 to 10 here and feel free to share an optional written comment.

We had a convention at Guadalajara this past weekend and attendees were delighted to see the advance production copies for the expansions!

Freight shipping in progress!

Hello Dragonbonded!

We have great news!!! Mass production has finished and freight shipping is in progress!

We are getting closer to start fulfillment for some regions! Some of you opted for split shipping to receive the base game first (at the beginning of this year), but now that expansions are ready, all backers will get their rewards! This is very exciting for us and we are eager for you to play Dragonbond: Lords of Vaala!

•  USA — The vessel with the expansions is already at Seattle! Based in our past experience, port congestions in US should be expected especially at this time of the year, but if everything moves smoothly, the expansions should get to our fulfillment partner (Gamerati) very soon and fulfillment might start in December!
•  Canada & Mexico — Once Gamerati in the US receives the container with the expansions, we will coordinate with them to forward the expansions to our chosen fulfillment partners in Canada (Pick & Pack Logistics) and in Mexico (Detestable Games). This depends on port congestion in Seattle to discharge, but we will keep you posted. If everything moves smoothly (keep fingers crossed!), fulfillment might start by the end of December. 

•   Europe, Africa & South America — This cargo required more coordination but finally, the vessel heading to Happyshops in Germany has departed this week and expected to arrive in January 4th! From there we will forward a pallet to Board Game Guru in the UK. We are extremely thankful for the incredible patience you have shown with this project, and we expect for fulfillment to take place in January if everything moves smoothly. We will keep you posted!
•  Asia — Everything is already with VFI Asia and we are in the queue to start fulfillment! China and Hong Kong will be the first ones to receive their rewards. It will take a bit longer for the rest of Asia but it is likely for these to arrive within December!
•  Australia — Coordination with VR Distribution was in place so they could pickup our pallets along with other clients they work with. The vessel departed yesterday and it seems to arrive by mid December. Depending on our place in the fulfillment queue, fulfillment might begin by the end of December or a bit into January. We will let you know when we have more news.

You can expect updates to be posted more constantly at this stage! Thanks so much for your incredible patience and overwhelming support!

At this stage, if you need to update your address, you must contact us directly to [email protected] with the subject "URGENT: LoV address Change" so that our customer team can coordinate with logistics parties involved to modify the backer lists that we share to fulfillment partners. Once fulfillment starts in a region, no further address changes will be possible at that region.

Advance production copies have arrived!

Hello dragonbonded! 

Everything is moving smoothly, YAAAY! Mass production is still in progress and I received the advance copies just a few days ago for Will and I to verify that the final assembly of games is correct, WOHOOOO!!! Behold to see amazing photos: 

It is just awesome to unbox all this game content that you made possible!

Your free box of Armies of Blood & Dreams includes SO.MUCH.VALUE! Not just because of the minis, but also the standalone wargame as well as the expansion content for Lords of Vaala.

And the rest of the expansions add a great twist to the game too!

It took multiple revisions to get everything perfect but we can finally say that fulfillment is getting closer!

Mass production will finish this month. 

Dates remain the same as last time:

• Final assembly of mass produced games: October 23rd
• Freight shipping taking place in November and spilling a bit in December
• Fulfillment to start in December (January for some regions, if there are some bumps during freight shipping)

It all depends on the ports but we are soooooo excited for you to receive your expansions and conquer Valerna!

Since we are nearing the fulfillment progress, please make sure that your shipping address is up to date. 

You can still access your Backerkit survey to update or confirm your mailing adress.
